Gold Cards are a product of the North Carolina Ski Areas Association (NCSAA) and allow the purchaser to ski at all participating North Carolina Ski Areas. The areas are:

• Appalachian Ski Mtn
• Sapphire Valley Ski Area
• Wolf Ridge Ski Resort
• Sugar Mountain Resort
• Ski Beech
• Cataloochee Ski Area

Gold Cards are sold in limited number, 125, and the cost for the 2008-2009 ski season is $775. There are no "blackout" dates for the Gold Card. The purchaser may ski at any resort during any session regardless of holiday / weekend rates. Previous Gold Card holders have the opportunity each summer during the month of July to purchase a Gold Card for the upcoming ski season before they go on sale to the general public on August 1st.
